Somewhere
ok, so Ive been thinking of building a indoor pond (gars;arrows;etc.) Ive been thinking I don't want the bottom to be bare or just rock. I want grass or something similar on the bottom. Since I want to be able to move the tank later on in life; I want to be able to keep the plants and not have to start over or disturb the layout.

Would planting in bio foam work? If you cut out the shape of the bottom of the tank and plant your plants in it. Then when you move the tank/setup; you can roll up the mat and put it in a tub of water or simular to transport it.

Also what would be a good short grass plant, the spreads through out the bottom?
