I have babies!!!

I am so proud, lol. I was watching my tank last week and found a baby red zeebra hiding in the rocks. A couple of days later I saw another baby hiding in another set of rocks. They are now actually darting into the open for food. They are so freaking cute!

I am really shocked because I've only had cichlids for a few months now. I also have a female Msobo with a mouth so full I feel sorry for her.

Only problem is I have some sort of infection in my tank. I am treating it though and the LFS said the medicine is fine for the fry. We're on day 3 of a 7-14 day treatment.

Anyway, the babies are just too precious :D
 
Are all the fish infected?

Thanks guys! The treatment seems to be going well, have another week left. I lost 1 lab Hongi, but I don't know if it was from disease or something else. The dominant male Hongi that had the obvious spot on his fin has no more signs and is looking very healthy.

I can only find 1 baby now, so I think we lost the other. Still waiting on my holding female to spit. She's in the main tank (I just let nature take its course) so she will probably hold for a while, I'm guessing.

I spend a LOT more time observing my fish now, LOL- I broke my left leg and ankle so I'm in a wheelchair and it's at perfect height to sit and stare at the tank since I can't do much else. And since my mother-in-law is now running my house and taking care of me, it helps me to relax :)
