Hey guess what ? If any of you saw the pics in the photo lounge I posted of my Peacock Cichlids, well there was one I posted of my Sunshine Peacock who was holding at the time. Well I knew she had released her fry over night one night and thought that all my others had ate them already. Well almost a weekish-2weeks later (as in today) I have 3 baby sunshine peacocks :woot: :D . I have to thank my bro. though cuse I never ever would have know they were there if he didnt say anything. My Sunshines claimed a huge rock I recently put in there and they were hiding behind it today b/c my female lemon jake was picking on them and the male on my big albino, so my bro. goes "your fish are trying to eat the other fish" so I run over there and he told me they picking on eachother well I happen to look at the bottom and notice something swimming under the rock in a lil opening and thought it was my missing yoyo eel (who is prob. under the sand) then it goes away then I see it agian so I look down and there it is a baby peacock, so I freaked pulled the rock up and another one swims out. I catch them and hold them in the net while I try to find something to keep them in. Well I come back and one net in the water so I look for the missing baby and I find it plus another one :D After that I look for more but no more. So I now have 3 babys and I am happy as mofo heck cuse I thought they were all gone! (plus today started out bad :( ) :woot:

CONGRATS!!! :headbang2

Congrates Ash. Is this your first time being mommy?

I remember my first 'babies' from a pair of jewel cichlids. Just as excited as you probaly are.

=) yah first time! buwhahaha I am so overly happy it not even funny.

Congrats, having peacoks babies is fun. I like getting fry from my crytocara moorii pair that I had until they started to produce fry like every 60 days and would have a hundred or more at a time. But congrats on the three.
