I am talking about the orange red or white ones. Nevermind the regular FH or texas that may be in the pics. The parents were a female rose queen and the father was a common red devil. I lost both of the parents due to a defective heater. I have been growing these out for a short time and they all look different. Some are red and white and some are orange and black. My favorite one is red and white with a little black. Here are some pics of the grow outs and the mom. I am still looking for a pic of the dad but I only had him for ab out a week befor the heater zapped them. I dont know how or why but most of the fry made it. Anyway here are some pics.

Oh yeah, I am probably just going to keep the Red/White ones. I really like the RD lips and color. I am going to try to breed them to some Texas. Also the Red/White ones seem to be growing at a faster rate even though they all eat like pigs.

they look like they have koi color on an RD. pretty cool.
thats the first thing that jumped to my mind when i saw the pics. they look great, keep up the good work

Well these stupid things want to breed already. The largest one is about 3" or maybe a little bigger and she is ready! She has been making a nest and has been cleaning and "dancing" as my daughter calls it with an average looking male FH. Should I take the others out and leave them? I have the room but would rather be more selective in the breeding process. Here is a pic of the female in her little cave.

This isn't a weird Hybrid. I had a brood of 1400 Midas/Red Devil fry and half of them are white. The white is justa colour morph of the regular RD/Midas. Your has more the body shape of a RD. RD's also come in orange and black mix as well.

Very Nice all the same. I love the White RD's. They are also known as Creamsicle for obvious reasons.
