I was cleaning my tank really thoroughly tonight as I had a flying fox with a minor injury and want to make sure he heals up really well.
I moved the two small pieces of driftwood that had moss growing on them and out came about 10 peppered cory fry:nilly::headbang2:nilly:

They look to be about 2-3 weeks old or so maybe lol, like tiny tiny semi transulcent cories.

I had noticed some odd behavior with the cories that I thought might be spawning behavior but never saw any eggs or other proof of it, and I certainly didnt do anything to help the babies survive.

I had just added a 3 inch pictus cat to do sone guppy birth control and now I need to catch him and put him in my 90 gallon with a couple of friends before he finds and eats my cory babies too!!

no no pics, they are gone again into the nether regions of the heavily planted tank, even if I could find them again I don't think I could get a picture of them as they are smaller than the gravel!
maybe in a few weeks Ill have bigger babies swimming around!

I even tried to get a picture of the poor flying fox with only one front fin and now a scrape and loss of scales on his back but he is too busy swimming in tight little circles like always.

hey man that is so cool yeah .....

Congrats , George
