My fh's eggs hatched yesterday afternoon. Today they have moved them all to a new pit.

Dad and Mom are sharing the duties and seem to be working in tag team mode.

They have shown no signs of aggression and neither one has a nip a rip or a scratch on them.

This batch is off limits to me until they are bigger (if they make it). I want to watch the parents behavior and give them the opportunity to learn without stress from me.

They are very young (between 4 - 4 1/2")but I hope their behavior never changes....they are very sweet to each other.

I'll post pics as soon as they are free swimming

AWESOME! I'd love to see which parents had these fry. Good work!

AWESOME!!! Love them both

thanks BF...now comes the question for you.

Can I breed him with my other female fh's (if they like him) or will he be better off with one mate?

Yes you most certainly can and should so long as it is in your mind going to be an improvement on the current strain you are working with. I will tell you that some FH are easily switched around other can be more difficult and then some just never work. This is not Science it is trial and error that you will learn as you go!:)
