I have four angelfish, they are 4-5 inches from point to point, my real question is how to sex them, two of them chase after each other and pick. Where the other two dont get involved lol.

Are these two chattering and chasing males? And the two mellow ones girls. I am looking to get two more; too have more options and hopefully end the b.s.

I had just changed to a 75 gallon tank two weeks ago, and it seems they just started this. Maybe its because the other tank wasnt huge and right next to the t.v. where I didn't notice because it wasnt right in my face. Hmmm.

I've seen aggression from both my males and females, although the females didn't show it until they were around the males. Males have more of a circular body where females have a more angular body. Males also have a hump on their head where females don't. Check the breeding tubes. Females have a wide tube and males have a smaller, pointed tube. I've also heard that the dorsal fin on males leaves the body angled upwards where with females the fin is angled the same as the body.
