Ok i am some what freakin out right now because i do everything possible to make sure my fish are living dam near a perfect life and today after a 12hr shift i come home and my 20"+ aro is just about dead...... How???? I have no idea!!!!!! It is floating straight up and down.... And not breathing hard at all it is perfect never got attacked by any other fish..... Its PERFECT!!!! But now i come home to it almost dead.... What can this be???? Can it be a internal problem.... Can it spread to my other fish???..... I am so upset right now....... I cant give up need to keep going i just need some help to figure out what this could be and if i should be worried about other fish just dying off like this..... Is it possible for fish just to die for no reason.... I DONT KNOW.... Sorry for this being so long.... Just a little worried for the rest of my stock....

Thanks for the help in advance.....

Btw my water has been tested by me and everything is right i run water changes every other day or every 3.....

Your other fish do not pose any treat to your aro if all of them are that size...

The best guess is something spooked him and he jumped hard and banged himself on the cover...I lost a large green terror that way once. He was eating normally before this?

One just needs to be alive to die.

Has happened to all of us. Everything was normal? Nothing out of the ordinary? Different food item? Frozen shrimp? Something other?

looks like it...I hear if you put floating plants next time it will curb its tendency to jump...but those plants also need strong lights and the flag tail and pleco(sometimes) I see will like to eat them.
