i just got my first aro. its a jardini. a couple of hours after i got it, i tried feeding it freeze dried shrimp and pellets, and he took them right away, even if the lfs was feeding him feeders. i've never had a fish that learned how to eat prepared foods so quickly. now im hooked. LOL

That fish is telling you, it belong to you. I hate fish that are picky eater . Its really ruin your mood if the fish have bad behave.

My jardini initially from LFS is on feeders as well. But I feed it pellet since day one. Grown alot and it is practically greedy. It will just eat anything I throw in.
