In search of Leiarius
I have this idea of drilling holes into my driftwood in my pond, making it into a planter, anyone have ideas of plants that are cold hardy to say 50f that would do good in this setup besides mosses. thanks for all suggestions.

The various egerias, and I think some anubias will thrive in cold water.

There's a bunch but mostly unattractive plants I can recommend that are native to my location.

egarias won't last ten minutes with the koi and goldfish and what tpyes of anubias like coldwater, and are there any unusaul plants for a submerged pond planting? Thanks.

have you thought of lining the edge of on side of the pond with cat tails? give a nice effect. i know this isn't tying in with the driftwood but it looks natural and very cool. you can also mix in some fountain grass along the edge near the cat tails

yah i already have bog plants in the works , hoping to milk ideas of neat looking submerged pond plants. So far all i have is hornwort to go on the wood .
