Paid good bucks for it (my standard for a pleco anyway) over a month ago and this is the first time I see it since I put it in thank!

Sorry they are not focused very well - I was taking pictures in total darkness...

Very nice. I have several plecos that I see only on occasion.

That is an L-114. Pseudocanthicas leopard cactus pleco. When it gets larger it will not hide as much. This pleco is a carnivore. Truly a beutiful plec!

Oh boy, I missed that one....I may not have been feeding him properly then.

I feed his tankmates all kinds of things (Hikari Gold and Bio Gold, freeze-dried bloodworms and krills, vegie pellets, frozen bloodworm and brine shrimp, romaine lettuce and algae discs). But his tankmates are pigs and won't leave him anything.....should I throw in something in the dark when others are asleep?

Yes throw food in for him when the lights are out. They are carnivores, but mine will eat algae wafers also. feed mainly meat but I try to feed mine some veggies every once in a while for a varied diet. They are very nocturnal. I have an 11" L-114 and yes you do see him more often than my 3" one that you never see, but he still wont eat with the lights on. Watch him with other plecos. They are territorial from an early age and are a very tough pleco. Nice looking little guy btw.
