Anyways to get to my question, i want to buy a 125 or 150 do you think i should put rock on the bottom or sand...i know there natural habbaitat is more rock than sand thanks. Right now i ahve some lava rock and some mastonory real rock that i got where i work..i'l get picks up of my tank and i'll elt you rank it. Thanks guys i really appreicate it. Do gravel with a bunch of rocks.

I would try not to use lava rock as substrate. First off, its too rough and the fish could scrape themselves up on it. Secondly its very porous and waste can build up in the crevices and can be hard to clean out. I would personally go with sand or bare bottom and use some smooth river rocks.

That is a good one...caves tahn gravel that would look dank...should i glue them on or no
