Just set up my 120 with corner overflow and sump....
I washed 100 lbs. of quirkcrete playsand in a bucket in my shower...and placed it in the tank and filled it...12 hours later crystal clear water.
I new nothing about these filtration systems before last weekend besides what I read online (here) and tackled this thing.
I don't think I'll ever go back to HOB's....No real problems except for a few giant danios in the overflow along with some pellets....nothing some nylon screen didn't fix...
Now 1 question...
How do I perform a water change thru my sump?
