it was sold to me as a red devil, but it was in a tank with flamingo cichlids? i think thats what they were labled as, but the flamingo's were priced at 16.99 and i got my "red devil" for 9.99. so did i get a red or just a really cheap flamingo.

the pic is a lil blury, he dosnt stay still, but on his tail, there are odd markings, some circles at the base of the tail fin, there white and the tail has a different shade of red also.

he has the thick lips of a true red devil to. i just want to be sure, being the guy working is the one i don't like much, he doesn't care about his customer's.

i got him from m lfs, well the only one i like, pets unlimited, there is a pet co and a pet smart around, all withen 5 min, but they dont believe in carrying oddball stuff, or even most cichlids.

I haven't lived there in a while, so I can't remember the name of the store, but did you get it from the LFS in the Giant plaza just off the Carlisle Pike? That place was always kinda shady. My buddy had a 125g he used to get fish for at that place and he got ripped off several times.

But to answer your question, it looks like a devil to me.

Guess I shoulda read that! Yeah, that's the place. I don't think the same guy owns it, I can't remember his name. I do remember that he used to cruise up and down the pike in his turbo Porsche 911, until he got charged for beating a sick kitten to death and throwing it in the dumpster.
