Okay, so im no newbie to aquarium fish keeping. Ive been in it for about 10 years. But the strangest thing has happened to me and I'm absolutely baffled. Yesterday I added 11 .5/.75 inch long S. Lucipinnis to my 10 gallon aquarium (Just a temporary setup). And the strangest thing has happened. I'd say an hour after I put them in. Four of the devils disappeared! Ive been monitoring the tank almost constantly to see if i can find the rest of my group. Looked in every single nook and cranny for them and haven't seen any sign. Im too scared to go around disturbing the rockwork for fear that they will become too stressed. If anyone has advice they can give me id be grateful.

Cheers,
Dylan

Thanks, where can i buy them? And ive tried feeding them flake food but they just dont seem to want it as much as they want to stay hiding

basically add any worm big enough to fit in their mouths and they should be happy

Right. I forgot about the filter - good suggestion. A few of my fish mystriously disappeared only to be found much later in the HOB filter, alive and well. Others say they regularly find fry and tiny babies in canister filters, alive and well too.

All I've got is an air bubbler and heater. So i think i can croos that off the list. I will purchase some blood worms and try that out.
