i had a jurapari in a 75 gal. he was bullying all my fish and i think he had ick so i put him in the quarantine tank and treated it now he has black lines going up and down his body any reasons why?

probably a little stressed out from the move into the hospital tank. Should be fine. Just leave the lights off

A lot of cichlids get black lines when stressed. Turn the temperature up to 87F. 86F should kill off the ick but I always go at least one degree higher to make sure.

Why leave the lights off?

Leaving the lights off often seems to have a calming affect on stressed fish.
