I influenced a dude at work to the fish-side!

I'm kind of proud. It's the first time its happened to me personally. I mean i've tried over the past 30 years to influence people to keep fish, but it never worked. But this time around a co-worker was asking me about fish, and I offered him a complete set-up i had in my garage for 30 per cent of what I paid for tank, stand and filter and decorations, and the guy is into it big time. He just came back from a lunch time spent at a LFS with fish in a thermo-bag. I'm proud! :)

Good work! I have only been able to do it once also. He only has a 20 gal... but 2 kids under age 2, so that might be best for now...

I've done it to my boss he now has a 55 and 40 at home and a 25 at work he says he want to get a 75 now.

This kid in my class use to watch me order fish online all the time. One day I caught him and started talking to him about it. So he started getting interested and he now hase a 55g saltwater tank. He knew very little about it so I helped him set it up. Its very rewarding!;)

Ive gotten a few of my friends into it, and have helped them along the way. Most of them started with fish from my spawning pairs. It always feels good to SPREAD THE FISHKEEPING SICKNESS!:D

I gave my tanks and fish free to 2 coworkers. They are now taking care of some of my fish and have added a few more into the tank. I helped along the way and that kept them on track. One of them already has a tank back in his home town. Now he's been buying supplies for both tanks and slowly getting more into the hobby. It's certainly rewarding specially when you see that their tanks are becoming more complicated as yours.
