I've been bad today

Got a call from my lfs ( they always call me to inform me on the new arrivals of oddballs.)

4x 1 1/2" baby silver arowans

so what do I do...

I go out and pick them up before they even get into the store...

I'm ashamed

yoke sack is gone so there more around 2" max, 20 mins into the tank and they are chasing the crickets around the tank, they ate one and are playing with the others.

I'll keep you all updated on how they do.


these are also my first silver arowanas sence my last 2 passed away ( raised them from 2" to 24+ before they died)

lets hope for the same with these guys, but a longer life.

I did the same as you. Bought 4 - 2"-3" silvers. All dead over the course of 3 weeks. Not due to water quality or any other factors that I could figure out. They were all eating blood worms like champs and then one day I'd find one dead. Never again. 6" and up for me.

I'll get pics after I fatten them up a little bit. I have them all divide in a 10 gallon right now, untill I see there eating. than I'll be moving them into my 45gallon tank.

I'll try pics tomorrow or this weekend.
