I JUST CANT SEEM TO GET IT CLEAN!

Ive been messin wit the filtration for a while but i cant get it right.
My parameters are all perfect apart from my nitrates a lil high. But theres just always lots of particles or altgae n god knows what floating around. Should I add a powerhead filter for extra mechanical?

I have a 1200 liter per hour pump running on a 180 liter... so i definitly have enough flow in the tank...

Put in an extra cannister, for 15 days, with activated carbon..

Purigen has done wonders for my tank....That and a UV sterilizer!

whats your current filtration
sump/cannister/hob

if its a sump then get some filtration bags i use 100 micron
and UV's are very nice
i use both water stays crystal clear

Make sure your not getting too much direct sunlight on the tank. If you are, your algae (green water) will never go away.

Its one of those Eheim "sits outside the tank" filters
I guess ill try the carbon idea... thats the cheapest alternative... if that dont do it ill go to the next (UV)
