keep your water clean, keep the ph right, keep a top on the tank because he will like to jump. You will also need a big tank to house a big arowana. 300 gallon plus for a full grown arowana. Try not to have a lot of decor in the tank( just a personal opinion.

What type is it? Assuming a silver aro, they grow big fast, about 1-1.5" per month on average. Within 18 months it will be 24" long, Extreme jumpers, seal every little hole no matter how small, weight the tank top, the bigger they get the more weight needed.
