I just got a load of free africans!!!

A friend of mine had a bunch of africans and just gave them to me, he has a 180 gal full of africans and wanted to get rid of them all so he could get some stingrays so I was like sweet I'll take a couple....

I got:

5 Electric Yellows (3 of them are 5inches and 2 are about 3 inches)
2 Rusty Zebras (male and female about 4 inches)
1 Venustus (male about 7inches) and looking sweet

He also had some zire red tropheus moorii but I didnt have a second tank to put those in so I let one of my other friends take those!!!! All in all can't complain!!!

If your friend is ever thinking of converting his stingray tank into something else and want to get rid of all his stingrays... let him know twk1 would be really happy to help him with that!! Haahaa!!

That Venustus is a very cool fish to keep. His brother Livingstonii is even cooler. =)

Yes, I do say the Livingstoni is a better looking fish than Venestus. Had two but they died when the tank broke. Had just started to look really good. Bought two new ones yesterday, around 4-5 cm. Also bought some new wild caught's just in from the Lake. Black dorsal's look great, as does the Metriclima Maleri blue. Zebra yellow chins also quite different. Will look to post some pic's once the fish have settled and started to show their true colour.
