Hi I just bought a 150G tank w/ stand and canopy and all the accessories filter, gravel ect...

I paid $150 they were asking $175 I think I got a good deal.

I live in northern California (way north Arcata) and all the tanks I look a here are that price for 55G or less.
check out the link for pics.

I have goin in the tank.
2 GT 4 inch
2 Oscars 4inch
3 Clown loach
4 JD biggest is 4 inch other are 3 inch

Is that too much? I understand when they get bigger I will need to move them but for now I think is OK. any suggestions will be appreciated.

you sure thats 150?? what are the measurements? the length of the stand its on makes it look shorter than 150.

either the oscars or 4 JD are gonna have to go once they are all mature. clown loaches don't have a meaningful size here so their fine. you might as well fit the JDs and GTs in the same size category though so basically you got 6 fish that can grow up to 8 inches each, and 2 that mostly grow 14-16 inches.

ur tanks gonna look like this

[ OOO OOO jd jd jd jd gt gt]

This is what they told me the dimensions were 72 x 18 x 28

I have not seen the tank yet my father in law is delivering it in two weeks.
I live in Humboldt County in Northern Cal. (way north 1 hour from the Oregon border)

My father in law has been in Long Beach for a few months and is getting ready to come north. I found this tank on CL and asked if he would pick it up.
He agreed. Come to find out he was about 5 block form the people selling the tank.
He called and said he has the tank in hand and it is huge.
Anyway I can’t wait to set it up. My fish need it I have a 30G and 55G tanks any they are very crowded.

Yeah , nice pick up .

Only thing i would add/ change to the stock you are planning on is more Clown Loaches . As they love to be in very large schools . But thats just me . :)

and then maybe not add the Oscars and think about something that dont get as big , so ( Im not sure ) you can get something diffrent .

that's a very nice pickup I just paid 245$ for a 125gallon with oak stand and canopy and no filters.

I paid more for one that was refurbed that way I don't have to do it myself or risk 125g on the floor.

Awesome deal.
