a new 40 gallon tank. now...heres the thing i got it for free. BUT the problem is is cracked at the bottom corner of the tank. its pretty bad but i think it was used for geckos before because is came with a water and good bowl...ill post some picsin a few minuites but would it be suitibull for any reptiles or not?

I would put something bigger than geckos in it... thats just a waste of space for most geckos... unless you do some of the larger species or something

That would be a nice setup for a trio of leos :) As far as the crack - I had a cage like that once so I just used tile as substrate so the geckos couldn't cut themselves on it. Perhaps you could do something similar.

ive got 2 leos right now in a 40 gallon. they love the room. im thinking cresties. im doin all my reaserch now. but i dont think itll be tall enough. the domensions are 1ft5inches tall,3 feet long, and1ft 5 inches wide.

Flip the tank for extra height. If I'm not wrong, cresties in general need 20 gallon tanks.

If you flipped it, it would work fine for a crestie or two. I don't have any diy threads on how to do it, but I've done it in the past. I took a glass top siliconed half of it to the rim and then used the other half as the door.
