I have been saying for the longest that i have some fish that i would never sell. Its still true , but only for fish that was given to me as a gift. . . But other than that, i think for the right price, i would sell any fish in my collection.

I guess what i just realized is that there is no end of cool fish to purchase and even if you sold your " baby ", you could buy one or two fish that can eventually take its place.

I may be wrong.. or i might even change my mind. But thats just what i feel right now. :screwy:

P.S : I am not selling any fish right now... just saw Lis Buy and Sell post, made me look at my fish and concluded that no fish are irreplaceable for me.

I understand what you mean. I like all of my fish, but only one has real sentimental value, and thats because its my first fish. I think I could still get rid of him for a fish I like better, maybe a zebra pleco or something.

I wouldn't sell most of my fish, unless they were easily replaceable at a lower price.

i wouldnt sell my fish either.. what im trying to point out is that i used
to see some of my fish as irreplaceable. . . . I am now in a frame of mind
where nothing is "irreplaceable ".

Not that i dont care, but its just fish and there are a lot of sellers there, private and public that will sell a nice fish at any give day.

Bdawg - yeah bro, the only fish i cannot give away would be fish that friends gave me... Those to
me are irreplaceable.

i still feel i would not sell my RTG or Dat unless i could replace with better fish.
all my other stuff would go no problem

I couldn't replace any of mine, they mean too much too me!! I've had the giraffe since he/she was about 4 inches, now its about 12 inches. The shovelnoses are close to each other and the ray is really special too.

I'm getting bored of the discus now though. They hide away a bit and they're getting boring. I think in most circumstances its easier to get attached to larger fish than smaller, agree?

Carl.

I agree, I got my Clown Knife when he was only 4" now he is like 10" and I would not get rid of him for anything! My Buddyfish (thats his name) is part of my family now:headbang2 :screwy: :headbang2

I used to think that way.. but i guess i have a sucky collection and that everything now
is dispensable. LOL..

My pipefish meant a lot because my friend and I collected them, sadly they did not survive the transfer into their own display tank at my school :(
