ok i went and got a stock that isn't permanent but for the most part if i've read properly would be ok for a little while. i had 1 lemon oscar and 1 jd and a minnow or mystery fish, i got a beautiful red oscar, 2 fire mouths (rare find in wyoming), 2 clown loaches, and a clown knife. they are all under 4" and i want some care info on which ever you know most about, i need multiple opinions, i will post pics when it settles as i re-arranged my tank to accommodate many hiding places for my fish. my jd is being a little aggressive toward my knife, but i think its just the new fish, i have a tank i could put him in if i need to. im more concerned about my knife because i have never had a knife before. what can i feed him? i have fake plants kind of sheltering half the tank with rock caves mixed in and then the other half is just rock caves. i am feeding the other fish blood worms and flakes. is this good for all of them? i am breeding mollies as the feeders for my oscars and wondering if this will work for the knife to. any ideas on what i can do is highly appreciated.

i only have one and this is a temporary tank until he gets big enough to live with my oscar, in which hopefully i will have my pond up and running

Hate to piss on your parade, but are you really thinking about a pond in wyoming to house tropical fish? Hope to fishy heaven this will be an indoor pond. The fish you have, even without the clown knife, will out grow the 55 by christmas. Hope that pond is under construction. I'd dump the ck and look for a 100 and you'll be set for the lives of your fish.

That was the point I was trying to make.

Hate to piss on your parade but a 100 gallon for life for 2 oscars, 2 firemouths, a jd, 2 clown loaches, and another fish? Come on

the pond is indoor, i know how it is out here and i know not to even try it. i am not stop craiglisting and talking to 4 people about 100 gallon + tanks. the knife will go in the pond with the oscar's when its done, most likely will be just a 3-4ft deep pool you can get from the store. i will layer the bottom with sand and a nice big or multiple large pieces of driftwood
