I knew this would be a chalenge.....

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
why are you worried about changing it? if it was a sufficient ph to hatch eggs shouldn't it also be fine to raise fry/fish?

And if those are wilds i want some fry. I already know what they are :)

And good job!

Thankyou...not wc Kelbs. Spawn tank is very stable...even @ 6.0 1000 gal. But as you know with a small tank raising fry that ph is very delicate. These fish need to be raised to market and needs to be raised to realistic ph eventually. Dont want to even atempt this now.....just wondering what size is safe?

Congrats borchbuild!

After a week the water neutralized itself because there was nothing to buff or hold the acidic ph......then I started to change out a gallon a day. Now the water is 7.6. I lost a total of 12 fry. Im about 3 weeks in and there 5/8 to 3/4" There in a 30 gal and should be move n them to larger in a couple days. Im def not the first to breed these guys and will not be the last. Im thankful another MFKr sold me these fish a couple years ago. These I believe are Tangle Up In Cichlids Spring 2010 batch
