i know that there have been many threads.. but i need to knwo what thinckness of glass to get 4 my 5000 its gonna be a full 4'x8' sheet of glass i want to get low iron glass... what are your guys thought about it... what the best site to calculate this????

According to garf you shouldnt go taller than 36" so judging by that its going to have to be VERY thick

really well that sucks cuz the tank was gonna be almost 5' deep and i wanted as much window as i can fit ... the front of the tank is 5'x12' i guess i could go 3' high on the window and have a foot above and below...

exact size is 144"x120"x60" with a 72"x36"x48" sump... i want a big window so what sixe should it be and i really havent looked into acrylic at all... i dont want acrylic i want low fe glass
