I know its a sailfin but which kind?

Hey was just wondering which sailfin pleco this is?

Sweet thanks.. I was told it was a red sailfin but def a lepoard sailfin pleco

a sailfin pleco is a sailfin pleco. its called a leapoard cause of its marking and red because of the rust colour it has on its fins when a juvie. theyre the same pleco- Glyptoperichthys gibbiceps

Ya but i have seen bushy nose sailfin plecos common sailfin plecos ect. the joys of working in a fish store. so i know there are differnt types of sailfins.

sailfin is the common name given to the Glyptoperichthys gibbiceps or the one in the pic a L083. a bushy nose will probably be the bristlenose catfish -Ancistrus sp ( it hink) and the common pleco is Hypostomus punctatus, your is the gibby

yeah i just pick up basically the same fish from a family owned petstore and its 9" and only $15.
