My name's Tristan. I've been keeping fish for fun on my own since I was about seven years old. I'm going to K-State to major in avian/exotic veterinary medicine with a focus on biological research and minors in East Asian studies and Chinese. I don't have any monster tanks right now, just a 29 gallon. I'm not allowed to have anything larger in the house I'm renting. I'm planning to move to Texas this year and transfer to A&M and hopefully put down a deposit on my own home. When that happens, you can bet I'll be in business!
I've looked into building my own tanks quite a bit, so I love reading the posts about homemade filtration and such. Keep those posts coming!
I also, unfortunately to some people, have a fascination with genetics and hybridization. Doesn't mean I try to cross everything that swims, but I'll be keeping my eyes on those posts and maybe contributing some of my own.
At any rate, this is plenty long as it is, so I'll wrap it up.
