Hello,
Been hearing about this place for awhile. I was afraid to come because we currently rent our house and I cannot have many of the monster fish I'd like to have, yet.
Figured being here might make me crazy with jealousy.
Finally broke down and checked it out, liked what I saw and registered.
So, here's my info for you that like to know who you are talking to.
I am a Certified Veterinary Technician and I teach with a Veterinary Technology program here in sunny southern Arizona, where the aquatic selection is small and expensive. I am one of three in the house afflicted with MTS and we pretty much run the whole spectrum; big/small, fresh/salt/brackish, tropical/cold and common/rare/oddball.
While many of our fish have "monster" attitudes, I think only the oscars and fire eels actually fit the bill. When I can trash, oops, I mean renovate my own house to fit their needs, I want to have rays, triggers, RTCs...... to name a few. Until then, I fawn over my eels (they're only about a foot long now, but they are growing!) and try to avoid being eaten by the oscars accidently during feedings and drowned in my sleep when they "play" at night.
Let me know if there is anything else you would like to know. In the meantime, I plan on reading previous posts (trying not to drool on my keyboard, I already have problems with my "M" key, that's why they ay be issing) and maybe make a few posts to see who else is out there.
Looking forward to whatever comes,
Cathey
