2004 Yamaha Blaster with $3000 worth of mods
I just got a car and so I need to sell my quad to pay for it. It's a 2004 Yamaha Blaster with $3000+ worth of aftermarket parts. This thing's a beast and very fast. It's in good condition except for the front right tire which is slightly out of line. I clipped a tree a while ago and snapped the tie rod. All the parts that were affected were replaced. The wheel is still a little out of line but it is a very easy fix. You just need to adjust the tie rod until the wheel is in line.
Here is the list of mods
A.M.A legal Trenga racing nationals cylinder kit, ported, polished stage 2 set up for motor cross.
High compression top end gaskets, airsol race piston
Oil injection block off kit, and tors system removed
Full Toomey B-I stainless steel race exhaust.
Toomey race filter, modified uni airbox mod with snorkel removed
Trenga racing 30mm flatside race carb, fully rejetted
Pro design stainless high flow intake
8+ extended custom powder chromed swing arm
Lonestar racing braided stainless extended brake line
Full set of moose heavy duty swing arm bearings
+5" trac wide tech wheel spacers, front and rear
Heavy duty press fit race chain
+3" high flight dessert race seat
Maier race front
Emingo rally guards (full metal, very strong and built to take a beating)
DG nerf bars
RPS race bumper
Custom belly plate
RPS full swing arm skid plate
Tucker rocky read ATV carrier rack ( I can take it off if you like but I found it very useful to carry things such as snow shovels in winter)
Shock Wears shock covers
Turf tamer oversized tires
Trenga Racing - cool reed spacer
Aktive carbon fiber race reeds
45 tooth jt perfromance rear sprocket/40 tooth
14 tooth front sprocket
Dune sport stainless steel bullet lights 1 spot, 1 flood beam
This quad runs off a cocktail of 3 parts highest octane pump gas to 1 part 104/106 octane race fuel at a 32:1 premix but it can run off highest octane pump gas alone - 2 HP
I ran it off highest octane pump gas with a 32:1 gas to oil ratio.
A stock blaser makes about 12 horsepower, this setup makes around 30 - 32 HP without giving up the reliability of going big bore due to thin cylinder wall heat dissipation and is fully A.M.A legal.
This blaster was bought in 2004 for $3200 + tax and then had $3000 + of aftermarket parts installed.
I'm only asking $2400 OBO. I'm located 30 min north of center city.
also maby maby maby ill make a partial trade for a awesome turtle or stingray
Thanks for looking - Dom
