Hi I'm Joe, I bought my first tank when I was 12 and fell in love. 20 years later I'm still going strong! I have some saltwater tank and some freshwater. The biggest tank I have is a 75 gallon, but now it's time to upgrade!
I'm thinking of making a 300 or so gallon plywood tank so I can get some big fish finally! No idea what yet, but they will be big. :)
 
Sounds ambitious...have you ever built a tank before? I myself have never tried but would be interested to learn.
 
I've never tried making a tank, but I've been reading a lot about it. Seems like the only way to make it cost effective over just buying a tank, is if you go big. All the people that've posted their tank builds say they wish they had gone bigger.
