My friend got me hooked on fish two years ago when we played poker at his house. He had two oscars and we were dopping about 5 feeder fish in at a time while making bets on which would last the longest. Along with being very aggressive, those fish had a lot of personality.
Here I am two and a half years later and I have two tanks with a two firemouths (breeding pair), GT, parrot cichlid (my wife's), 3 severums, 2 convicts, and an gorgeous male texas (I think it's a carpinte). I've got the fish fever and I love this site.
I am currently going to school for mechanical engineering, and we have an apt. I have huge plans for building a monster tank in the future when we get a house after I graduate. This site has been very helpful in getting ideas for my future monster tank.
