I need help.

I was vacuuming my carpet and found a small lizard running around.

We don't have lizards!!

I caught him and he is sleeping right now but looks pretty thin. I put a small cap of water and some natural scraping material in a container for now.

He can just but very low. He can't climb the plastic.

Thin long tail, a tanned strip from his neck down all the way to the end of his tail.

Best picture I can get right now

Any idea of identification? Must of came from a house plant I bought a few weeks ago. He needs to eat something...

Kinda hard to tell from the pics and health of the lizard but it looks like it could be a brown anole. Try to get it to eat some small insects and hopefully it will start to recover. I would also add a lid with small vent holes to raise the humidity if its under 70 - 75%. If it makes it and you can get better pics keep us updated.

Canada eh
Definitely looks like an anole of some sort. But I distinctly remember anoles being able to walk right on glass so plastic shouldn’t be much different. It might just be a bit amaciated or something to not be able to walk on the walls? Definitely need a lid though on a more long term basis. Imo
