i lose a gallon and half of water

is it normal for the water to evaporate so fast or at least that much water it just seems like alot i dont think i have a leak theres no water on my floor or any where around my tank

its no where near a window but it gets warm every once in a while it takes about a week or so for the water to disapear

a gallon and a half is nothing i lose 2g's a day sometimes

if you dont have a top it will evaporate faster

well on the tank i have a lid but not in my sump/refugium

+1--before the tops were put on my 180 I would lose about 3 gallons a week. Now that the tops are on I lose less.
