Hello MFK

I have a 75 gallon take with 2 senagalas and I am thinking of adding ornates however my senagalas are 7 inches and I'm concerned because all the ornates I find are 3-4 inches and I don't want them to be bullied and eaten by my larger bichir any thoughts

Should be good but have a grow out on standby. I have 2x 12" Endli w/ 4x 6-8" Ornate and they are all G.

You should be fine in a year-year and a half, Polypterus Ornatipinnis grow up to 12" in two years, and max in about 20".

Thanks for the advice I love my bichirs just want to add more color to my tank. I will be getting a 200 gallon tank soon so hopefully that will be enough

It will probably be fine, but definitely keep an eye on things for a few hours.
