Your getting a "REAL" tiger ray and you have no idea what your doing

Good Luck

Me myself would not pay that kind of money, ($700)? for a tiger ray sounds cheap, and not know how to keep it.
Also where do you live and where is a tiger ray for $700

Got any PICS???

lol this is guaranteed not to end in a good way, maybe you shouldn't be getting the tiger so soon, one week for research really wont be enough.

you'll need a low pH, acidic soft water is very important to a newly acquired tiger ray.

does your jardini tolerate any tank mates? you probably know more than us about whether it's a good idea or not to keep a new sensitive ray with a giant aggressive jardini.

these rays are not for the novice, as they have high demands for water quality and precise parameters.

best of luck and hope you don't lose out on $700.

i think you, should aclimatise the stingray to your tank water.

keep ph at what ever your tap ph is.
drip aclimitise the ray before you put it in.

as for your jarndi, i would try puting in a common pleco or something to see if it touches bottom dwellers.

might be painful but might save you 700...

not saying the jarndi wont work, but its good to know for sure before trying (as they are notorious for being aggressive)

i think since he is banned.... you guys can just delete this thread and save the space for something less important
