Ok, i got my shippment of 2 silver aro's and 9 pbass.

The plan was to put a divider in my 100gal growout to keep the aro's and pbass seperate so the 1-1/2'' pbass didnt become food.
When I put the fish in the tank the pbass kept on finding holes in my divider and going right up to the aro's(7'' to 8'') so thinking quick I put the aro's in my 560gal.
Then I remembered someone saying that the should not be in a tank that big at first because they cant find the food when you feed them.

Did I mess up?

IME that is one of the stupidest recommendations I've ever heard. Raised plenty of baby aro alone in a 55g an never did they have trouble finding food. One thing I always do is feed in the same spot, though soon your arowana will recognize you as their source for food and you won't have any trouble feeding.

Yeh I heard the same thing but I came to find out that once they start eating they actually grew faster in a bigger tank for me...

I wish I had that problem, tank is too big the fish can't find the food LOL Darn, what to do.......

Great pick up! Can't wait to see some of the bass grow out pictures, you got an awesome collection there!
