MY LITTLE WORLD

I've always wanted an alligator and florida hybrid, but I have yet to see any for sale locally... until this morning.

I went to Chinatown JUST to get a bag of 100 feeders when I spotted a pair of cute little gars swiming around (one was actually laying on the tank floor).

They are definitely very different from the usual florida/spotted gar babies I've seen. The jaw structure is a little different, but what assured me of the alligator blood, are those eyes.

:)

its cute thats a nice gar ming can you get a nice side shot of it i wanna see the colors on its side very very nice fish buddy:thumbsup:

*struck gold ;)

It's a damn nice gar, never seen a juvenile gar that looked quite like that.

And at this small size his snout looks quite broad, so it could be a gator hybrid yep.

Ming how much do you pay in Chinatown for 100 feeders?

Bet he had a terrible time with that feeder.

He ate 2 of those feeders, amazing.

Feeders like $6.00 per 100 count, but for me to get to Chinatown costs me about $20.

I will get more shot as he settles down.

Ummm, everyone's been playing guessing games, so guess how much that baby costs!

I'll guess 10 dollars ming.

That's some incredibly cheap feeders, what feeder fish are they?

In Europe 6 dollars would buy you 2 goldfish or platys :)

More.

Feeders are cheaper and healthier in Chinatown (one particular store that I always buy from).

I normally don't get feeder fish though, I'm only getting them because my nile perches are not eating prepared foods.

I usually buy $10 worth of black worms, and that usually last me up to 3 weeks.
