Well, my a. robertsoni laid eggs and has been hanging out with my male firemouth. How do you tell if the eggs are fertile? The eggs are clear with a little black dot in the middle, so are those fertile? If so then it looks like I will have a ton of fry. The firemouth took a pretty bad beating so he is separated now.

usually white eggs are infertile, i believe. Sounds like you will have a ton of fry in your future!.

That is what I thought. My female HRP has been laying eggs with no mate and those are white.

Anyone know how long it will take for the eggs to hatch and what to do w/ the fry? Also can I use melafix w/ the eggs? I have a divider to keep the a. robertsoni and FM sepparated. The FM could use it.
