I MIGHT HAVE GREEN DEVILS

I found a beat up gt this morning gaurding a flower pot full of eggs the 4" gt i thought was a male aint.the gt was in a 75 gal with a md x rd and a texas and i am thinking the devil is the daddy he is the biggest 1 in there but he was not by the spawn or the texas.the eggs look like they are fertilised the way the gt was fighting the others hard like it was important to keep them safe .i moved her to a 29 gal qt tank and the flower pot of eggs added some pima and mela fix and if this first time mom dosent eat her eggs or potential fry i might have some cool fish to grow out i think they could be great looking fish and if not they are feeders. i will keep u guys posted on this it might turn out to be nothing tho.

Keep us posted. Grow out as many of the fry as you can so you get some good looking fish.

I think you should deffinatly send some my way for me to grow out when they hit like an inch or so. I will be keeping track on this thread so maybe I can convince you to send me some.

hey if it works out i got a 100 gal pond i could and would drag into the fish room for a growout and i would give mfk members the first shot at purchasing fry.right now the eggs are solid white and mom has not eaten any that i can tell and only a coulple with fuzz maybe they will hatch this weekend.
