I have been feeding my large Oscar, Frontosa, and Channel cats, whole jumbo shrimp. I normally hand feed them so I know which big fish gets what to eat. I then toss in the cut shrimp, scallops, white fish, for everyone else.
One of the larger fish must have spit a jumbo out and the Pbass must have snatched it. I went to feed them this morning and was missing a bass. I found it dead in one of my rock formations. Its stomach was huge... I pulled the bass out and dissected it. When I got its stomach open there was a jumbo shrimp about 5 inches long in its stomach. I measured the PBass and it was 7" long.
I guess I will not feed whole jumbos to the tank until the PBass are bigger.
