I need a filter for a 55g

So like the title says I need a filter for a 55g. The fish I'm keeping in there are tropical community fish.


What should I get?

I like the emperor 400s, and also the ac110s, I got two on sale for 55$ ea free shipping from dr foster and smith, see if they have sales on their ac 110s. If you want a canister, the only brand I've been happy with so far is eheim. Expensive though

I've posted this question on other forums and ended up hearing about the aquatop, sunsun, and Odyssea since there on the cheaper end of canister. I have a Rena XP3 right now on another tank. I've read some bad stories of the 3 that I have mentioned and also good. I'm just nervous because I don't know what way to go. I know that the name brand canisters have warranties I don't know about the others.
 
I have use ac110's and love them. I think the aquatop filters are good but u would need a secondary filter aswell in my opinion
