I need a new heater ASAP

Ive been using Tetra heaters for ages. This is the fifth one in my tank tho. I need something more reliable. These heaters work great for 6 months, then the thermostat goes out. It goes from 78 to 76 then gradually lower until it doesnt work.

I am limited to Petsmart, but I need it tonight. I was thinking the Rena Smart heater?

yea, most people on here will suggest the eheim jager heaters from what i've read, i received a marineland with my setup and plan on "upgrading" to a jager

I hate jagers because they're glass.
Why buy a glass heater these days?
Although, if you're gonna buy glass, they are the Cadillac of glass heaters.

Haha well I paid less than the Tetra whisper from walmart I was running. and the Petsmart by me had this or a top fin glass. Petco had theyre store brand glass non submersible and the stealth. andd I needed it last night.

When I get a few more bucks if that via aqua titanium 350 watt.


Ive been using cheap glass ones for a while now, after 5 im done with them. I dont care what brand it is I will NOT buy another glass one. Plus my pleco and cats burn themselves on the glass. This is the first "good" heater Ive bought. and yes I have the reciept and box. If it goes out I dont think theyd be too happy returning it as they price matched it half off.
