Hello,

I wanted everybodies opinion. What would be a great predator that could live in a 75 gallon tank for all of its life? I love bichirs, but I don't want to do a P. Senegaus again. What would you all recommend?

Thanks,
Shane

I was in serious contemplation between a baby Delhezi, or a baby Retro. Again, any recommendation is welcome, even if it isn't from the Polypterus family!

im not an expert but i think a sunfish or 2 could go in a 75. someone correct me if im wrong

You could do one of the smaller fresh water puffers. I like the ambush puffer tetradon suvutii.

A smaller sp. of wolf fish would work.

You could also do some pirahnas, if you like them.

I would go with birchirs though if you like them. I love my senegalus, it has so much personality.

Ah, okay I see...
Well, I love the way the Delhezi's look when they are full grown, and I am very much into raising fish from babies. I would love a baby bichir of some kind...I wish that my tank was big enough for a Endlicheri species...but oh well.

Keep em' comin'
Shane,

If you don't want your everday ordinary senegalus, you could spend some extra money and find yourself a platinum one.

LoL...I'd much rather have the long-finned variety, but alas...I'm saving for college.

Thanks,
Shane

a BUNCH of Exos That would be SWEET:)

how about an african brown knifefish? im considering one myself, and they are cool looking and get around 8 inches long.

Who needs college when you can have a platinum birchir. JK, I am in the same boat as you.
