ive got a 4ft x 1.7ft x 1.7ft tank, for my jar, bare bottom, with 2 live plants placed in a shot glass.. the background is black, so as the bottom (but grayish looking due to old aged tank)..

what color of light do u think is suitable for my jar? coz ryt now, i have him in a light pink colored flourescent.. what flourescent lighting will be good for my jar? wattage, and so on..

thanks!!!!

might want to think what kind of light is good for those plants...

light pink is the best for most fish..
it doesn't hurt their eyes ( some say )

what light wud you suggest that is good both for the plant and the jar?

depends on what type of plants you have,,,some do better in low light, some better in bright light...

Best of the best use yellow colored flourescent,Background s Black OK,underground s Yellow (EVA Platics or Delcan at bottom).
This is my jardini with under yellow light.

wow that has a great color.. how long have you been treating that type of light to him? dats a nice jar.. what im having ryt now is light pink color bulb and black bakground and base.. what other color bulb out there would make a jar look great as yours??? (really a nice jar!!)
