i need fish ID,thanks!!!a toadfish?

Please ID this fish...one of the coolest fish ive ever seen...its even cooler when this fish can make a sound like a toad!!!! seriously...i repeat...a fish can make a sound a TOAD when u touch it or stressed! its about 10 inch, cost about 35 malaysian ringgit...

You shouldn't be touching it. This fish is venomus, and while it probably won't kill you, I hear its sting is incredibly painful. Also, I don't think touching is good for the fish either

very cool brackish fish they have to have salt but still are a great fish not very aggressive and very preditory and at 10'' thats huge never heard of them that big i thought 8'' was the biggest they get great price to

they do make funny sounds when bugged or talking to each other which is also cool

and the sting yes they do sting and yes it does hert its not supposed to be as bad as the wasp fish which is also brackish but i've never been stung you i really couldn't te'll you

Brackish fish i think. I have seen a few in full saltwater tanks at a lfs. Guy said it was originally in a freshwater and later converted at the store. Seen them labeled as stonefish, toadfish, and freshwater lionfish.
