my serveums has layed eggs for the first time! they are are on a piece of driftwood. my question is how long do i have for ti=hem to hatch and how do i do this? i want to keep as many alive what do i feed them? should i move a filter and a heater to the tank im goin to set up forr them?

i need info guys!!!

If they're viable, they'll hatch in several days, wriggle for 1-4, and then start swimming. I've had the best luck moving free swimmers.

Make sure the new tank is cycled and ready. Start using the other filter on your current setup now, it'll seed the bacteria you'll need to help jump start the new tank.

In terms of food, plenty of options. Baby brine shrimp, crushed flake/pellet, etc. You'll find most fry to be good eaters. One of the biggest factors will be water. Pristine water quality enables fry to grow fast.

Best of luck. ^_^
