I need help IDing these two cats

No lable at the LFS, got them for $8. I think they are some form of synodontis but I have not yet been able to locate a picture or description that matches them. They are currently 2" long yellow body with dark spots.

I have no idea. I cannot guarantee that is what they are either.

def. would have to go with Synodontis njassae. no idea how fast they growth but they will prolly get up t about 8".

im gonna go against the crowd and say S. nigrita.

I doubt its njassae because they have pale barbels and your cats have black barbels, which can also be seen in S. nigrita.

I was thinking the same thing about the barbels being dark and the njassae's being pale.
