He was doing so well up until 2 days ago.. i hope and pray it is not caused by me overfeeding him... i know they love to eat and i was always careful about giving him too much, but what is too much, one pellet extra could be one too many:nilly: If he is over fed what is the best thing i can do to help him??? here is his pic ..he looks fatter then usual to me..:( I don't know why but the manage attachments is not responding so i will try again in a few..

i dont see any picture but i had the same problem with my oscar. i had over fed him with two large feeders and he refused to eat and acted strangly for a week. If you did over feed him the best thing to do is wait and watch. offer him food usually but do not freak when he refuses. my oscar got over it in about a week. good luck!

Oh thats good that your Oscar recovered... this guy waits for me every morning to eat so i feel terrible when he shuns his food.. but i will keep doing little water changes and try to be patient..thanks

i can see the picture, deffinetly looks like he's been eating alot :p ... he'll be fine.

He is an electric cat and they look like a sausage anyway.. lol ..i hope your right!! Thanks

nice E cat and he looks fine so no probs at all
any ways he reminds me of mine fugly little cats

I wouldn't be to worried about it just yet Liz, Just like any other cat out there these guys will take some hunger strikes for awhile which is actually a good thing as in the wild they wouldn't eat everyday but only when food was available which could take weeks sometimes. It's been years since I've had an E-Cat but I used to feed mine every other day and occasionally skip a day or a feeding just to try and give it a semi natural pattern and it worked out well for him :D

Good luck and i'm sure you'll notice in a day or two that he'll be begging for food again ;)

Thanks everyone with your optimistic replys but i found him passed this morning.. i kept thinking about it and all i can come up with is he was constipated maybe from eating dry food.. maybe the lesson here is dry food for an e-cat should be fed extremely light and instead use more frozen foods.. other then that it could be a parasite since all e-cats come from the wild..what ever happened to him i sure miss him...
